Our “Wa of Moving Wood” project has been featured in both the UK lifestyle magazine wallpaper*’s April 2024 print edition and its digital version.
“Wa of Moving Wood” is a wooden mobile station built using Kei trucks by Takeda Forestry in Inoko Town, Ehime Prefecture—a project aimed at revitalizing local forestry operations through its “Non-Cut Forestry” concept and “Forest Entrance Creation” philosophy.
wallpaper* is a British lifestyle magazine that covers global design and contemporary culture, with publications available in 93 countries worldwide.
We are deeply honored that our initiative in one small regional city in Japan has been recognized internationally.
We continue to explore how to connect the global perspective of contemporary design with the local context in which these architectural works exist.
